The -40°C freezer range (upright and chest formats) is used for scientific research, ultra-low temperature experiments, electronics/chemical/military industry applications, university laboratories, bioengineering and offshore fisheries. Units offer a microcomputer-controlled digital display with 0.1°C temperature increments, adjustable temperature range, high/low alarm functions, stainless-steel or antimicrobial-coated steel construction, safety door locks, and heavy-duty caster wheels. Larger models add a dual independent digital display and up to 72-hour power-failure alarm backup.
