The Scitek -40C Freezer Series is a range of upright, chest, and combined refrigerator/freezer units designed to store vaccines, blood plasma and other biological materials at temperatures down to -45C, using high-density CFC-free urethane foam insulation and a microprocessor-controlled digital display with an adjustable temperature range.
Units feature height-adjustable shelf trays, separate inner doors or drawers to suppress cold-air leakage on opening, safety door locks to prevent unauthorized access, and lockable caster designs for easy relocation. Reliability features across the range include a built-in backup battery (8-72 hours depending on model) to maintain display and alarm function during power loss, audible/visible high/low temperature and sensor-error alarms and start-delay power-failure protection.
The RFZ-40V370 combined model provides an independently controlled +2C to +8C refrigerator compartment alongside a -20C to -40C freezer compartment in one cabinet.
