- General Details
The -86°C Ultra Low Temperature Freezer range is specially designed to store viruses, pathogens, blood cells and other biological samples, and is widely used in hospitals, disease control departments, research institutions and biomedical engineering. Units use high-performance V.I.P. (Vacuum Insulation Panel) insulation to minimise cabinet heat gain, a mixed-refrigerant cooling system for rapid, stable and energy-efficient cooling, and a uniquely designed inner door that separates storage compartments and reduces frost build-up. A Dual Refrigeration System variant adds a second, independent cooling system so the freezer can sustain roughly -70°C if one system fails.
