Class I Biological Safety Cabinet

The Class I Biological Safety Cabinet, also usable as a Balance Weighing Hood, is designed for the safe handling and weighing of highly active drugs and liquids, mainly for weighing experiments involving dust, liquids, or mixtures of dust and liquids. It uses a unique back-panel airflow design for stable balance readings and to avoid the risk of highly active drugs falling during pre-filter/HEPA filter replacement, with an easy-to-replace pre-filter to extend HEPA filter lifetime. A microprocessor controller with LCD display shows the operating status of each function, and a temperature/humidity sensor provides real-time monitoring to improve weighing accuracy. The OEB Grade (Occupational Exposure Band) is OEB 5, suited for the highest-risk materials in the pharmaceutical industry, minimising exposure risk and strictly controlling leakage of highly hazardous substances.
