The Scitek Class II A2 Biological Safety Cabinet protects operator, sample and environment during work with biological agents, using a 70% air recirculation / 30% air exhaust airflow mode through dual ULPA filters. It features a 7-inch LCD touchscreen with real-time monitoring and display of front window status, air velocity, date/time, temperature, and filter/UV lamp life; an air velocity sensor for real-time monitoring and precise airflow control; a motorised front window with interlock functions (UV lamp/front window, UV lamp/blower/LED lamp, blower/front window); and a removable 304 stainless steel work zone for easy cleaning and disinfection. A three-level safety login system controls access to control, function and parameter settings, and the unit retains settings via a memory function during power failure.
