The EMSAS ECI Series is a range of platelet & thrombocyte incubators that maintain a set temperature of +22C (adjustable) with +/-0.5C tolerance, using a user-friendly digital control panel with advanced microprocessor technology and password-protected access. When the door is opened during operation the internal fan and platelet agitator automatically stop, resuming once the door is closed; if the agitator fails, the system continues operating and raises an alarm.
The inner chamber is AISI 304 stainless steel, with a multi-airflow system for uniform temperature distribution and two temperature probes (internal cabinet and liquid/blood component). Data is logged for up to 30 days and can be exported via USB in Excel format for up to 10 years.
The EAJ Series platelet & thrombocyte agitators are used together with the ECI incubators, with stainless steel shelves with PVC side edges for improved air circulation, an operating speed of 60 cycles per minute, and capacity from 6 to 11 apheresis bags per shelf, depending on model.
